Adult Day Center
The Adult Day Center at Beth Sholom Lifecare Community serves adults experiencing a decrease in physical, mental and social functioning. The program offers health assessments and monitoring, assistance with medication administration, stimulation, socialization, a rest area as well as caregiver support and education.

Seniors enjoying interaction at the Adult Day programCaregivers, such as spouses or children of seniors, are finding it increasingly difficult to locate adequate care for their loved ones during working hours, or are unable to provide care on a daily basis.

The Adult Day Center provides recreational activities, exercise, planned events and personal attention accommodating the participant's emotional, intellectual, spiritual, safety and physical needs.

The Participants
  • are at least 55 years old
  • are alert and ambulatory
  • experience social isolation
  • need assistance with activities of daily living that a caregiver is unable to
  • need assistance with medication management minus the presence of a caregiver
  • exhibit poor safety awareness and requires constant supervision

Personal attention is given to participants with a staff ratio of 1:5. The program is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

The program will be closed on the following holidays: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Christmas, New Years Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Thanksgiving.

The cost of the program is $65 per day.
